Pertama kali mendengarkan lagu ini saat ada seorang teman yang menyanyikannya dengan iringan piano. Wow! Langsung mengena di hati. Syair dan melodinya terasa 'sesuatu' banget. Segera saja mencari mp3-nya dan lagu The Reason by Hoobastank menjadi lagu favorit yang sampai kini tersimpan dalam memori handphone, diputar berkali-kali tidak pernah bosan.
