Film 'The Expendables 2' yang dibintangi Sylvester Stallone cs berhasil mencetak hasil yang cukup bagus dalam pekan pertama pemutarannya dengan pendapatan US$ 28,8 juta atau sekitar Rp 273 milar. Tetapi angka tersebut jauh lebih kecil dari pendapatan seri pertama 'Expendables' yang menghasilkan US$ 34,8 juta pada Agustus 2010 lalu.
The Expendables 2' dibintangi sejumlah aktor papan atas seperti Sylvester Stallone, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Bruce Willis, Jet Li, Chuck Norris, Dolph Lundgren, Terry Crews, Randy Couture, Liam Hemsworth dan Jason Statham
